Financial Advisor – CPA
Clay is an independent financial advisor who joined Rexroad Retirement & Wealth Management in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Clay utilized his CPA license in the world of public accounting specializing in the financial services industries. This background in business has him well prepared to help guide clients through diverse situations. He is now fully licensed as an advisor with Commonwealth Financial Network and is actively pursuing his CFP® designation.
Clay believes the key in all client relationships is to first listen well. Financial planning can be such a complex issue because people often have unique and complicated goals. Taking the time to listen and fully understand these goals is the best way to formulate solutions. Complex situations often require very strategic “outside of the box” thinking, and this is where he believes a great advisor can make a lasting difference. As a fiduciary asset manager, his clients absolutely always come first, and the service for them is paramount. He aims to add value to clients by building confidence that grows day by day, year by year, decade by decade, until the goals have been achieved.
Outside of the office, Clay enjoys spending time with his wife, Kimberly, challenging Rex on the golf course, and staying active outdoors.
